“Crows” by Daphne Clifton

I admire the patterns and symmetry of natural forms, and use my images for storytelling. Albrecht Dürer’s dense imagery and Giovanni Piranesi’s use of line for landscape and sky inspire me, but it’s mostly Gene Flores’ Pandora’s box of printmaking techniques that I keep going back to. An etched copper plate is a thing of beauty and mystery.
